Put Claude to Work · Workflow 1 of 6

Answer customer emails in your voice

This module works differently. Each lesson hands you one finished workflow: a template you fill in once, save, and reuse forever. First up, the biggest time sink in most inboxes.

From skills to a saved workflow

You already know every piece of this template. The role sentence is lesson 7. The voice example is lesson 6. Rules with reasons, lesson 7 again. Pasting the real email, lesson 3. What's new is the packaging: all of it pre-assembled, so answering a customer email becomes paste, fill, send.

One new habit shows up here, and it carries through this whole module: the [CHECK] placeholder. Instead of letting Claude guess a price or a date it doesn't know, the template tells it to leave a marked blank. You fill those in before sending. Guessing is how wrong prices reach customers.

The workflow

Save this one, fill it in each time
WHO YOU ARE:
You are the {owner / front desk} of {your business}, answering a customer email.

MY VOICE:
Here's an email I wrote that sounds exactly like me:
{paste your saved voice example}

RULES:
- Answer every question they asked, because missed questions create a second email.
- Keep it under 150 words, because customers read on their phones.
- If you don't have a fact you need (a price, a date, a policy), write [CHECK: what's missing] instead of guessing.

THE EMAIL:
{paste the customer's email}

Write the reply in my voice.

The parts in the MY VOICE and RULES sections never change. Save the template with those filled in, and each use is just pasting the new email.
